July 28, 2020 – Day 134 of my quarantine
This morning for the first time since being on the antibiotics, I have actually seen the visual evidence of improvement of the infection on my left foot. This is very encouraging. The bruised and battered broken toe also appears to be improving.
So this morning I am off to drive to the post office and grocery store to grab some badly needed provisions. I will be using the special walking cast shoe for the broken toe and a cane to steady myself.
I walk into the studio at least once a day and stare longingly at my desk and drawing table. I can’t wait to get back to work. As always – more and more ideas for new projects have been piling up in my mind during recovery, including a mystery-based card game and another book. (Good Lord! I already have 2 UNFINISHED books and one unfinished film in my backlog – PLUS a studio across the hall full of glass that needs engraving)
I am beginning to feel optimistic again. Little by little, as I heal and experience less pain, my feelings of hope and positive energy are growing steadily. These feelings are aided by my absolute refusal to engage with the news, fear-mongering or politics.
I hope this post finds you all well.
Sending you all my Love and Light. Stay Safe. Stay Smart. Stay Sane. Stay Strong out there.
Until next time …
