May 22, 2020 – Day 67 of my quarantine
Along with Music Mondays and Well-Read Wednesdays I now introduce to you, Film Fridays. Where I’ll share with you some of my favorite films.
My film pick today really fits ALL 3 category days, as The Chronicles of Narina are among my favorite children’s books and the musical soundtrack from the film is also high on my list of beloved music. Evocative, stirring, and breathtaking.
I wanted to add some photos here from my new home in Second Life. I built it last night and am so pleased with how it turned out. As I’ve mentioned before, I am known as the “Mysterious Mechanic” in that virtual world and so I felt it was finally time to build myself a home worthy of that name – so I built “Mysterious Beach.” It is no mere coincidence that as you pass through a mystical portal to enter the beach you are greeted by a Street Lamp just like the one in Narnia’s Lantern Waste – it is there to signal to visitors that they are now entering into another world.
It is also no coincidence that this theme ties-in with the art book I now have in production as well. Everything in my life seems to be coalescing in such a mysterious and magical way. I could not be happier.
I don’t create any of these ideas – they just find me. My job is simply to not be resistant to them and allow them to work their way through me into the world of form.
“I don’t need anyone to qualify my work. I’m working for me.” – David Bowie
Stay Safe. Stay Smart. Stay Sane. Stay Strong out there.
Until next time …
