April 5, 2020 – Day 50 of my quarantine.
WOW!! 50 Days alone in isolation. I am so grateful for my continued good health, positive attitude, my partner, my 4 cats who entertain me daily, and that my whole life has seemed to prepare me for this time in history. I am also grateful for all of you out there – healthcare and essential workers, helpers, people staying at home to save others (we are heroes too!) And of course, YOU, my wonderful readers. Talking to you every day has been a big part of my success in isolation.
I spent some time yesterday organizing my CD music library – yes – CD’s – I’m old, remember? I also have boxes and boxes of ALBUMS -(disk-shaped vinyl things) stored out in my garage and if I ever get around to setting up my turntable (also packed away down there) I will begin listening to them too.
It was so wonderful to sample through music I have not listened to in many years. That said, I also REALLY, REALLY enjoy discovering new music – whether new to the world or just new to me and so I thought today I’d share some of that here.
Welcome to Music Tuesday – Quarantine Edition!
A VERY SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to all the wonderfully entertaining, funny, and creative people who produced & performed these Quarantine Songs. I found myself smiling, laughing, crying, and singing along. If you don’t listen to all these songs – PLEASE listen to the last one.
Sending you all my Love and Light. Stay Safe. Stay Smart. Stay strong out there.
Until next time …
